Rescheduled Glow Run this Saturday

Courtney Burnett-Earnheart announced that she will be putting on a Glow Run 5K in Risco to help support the Southeast Slam Club Volleyball Team she is coaching.

The race will be held this Saturday, October 15, beginning at 8:30 p.m. Participants may choose to run or walk. Each contestant will be provided with different glow items, such as bracelets, necklaces, etc. Everyone is required to wear something that glows during the event.

The course will be marked off with glow chalk to indicate the correct route. Burnett points out that the 5K is also a family fun walk. Participants are not required to run.

The entry fee for this event is $30 per person. Overall winners for adult (ages 18 and up) female and male will each receive $50 in cash. The winner out of all contestants under the age of 18 will receive a medal for first place. Ages 14 and under winner will receive a glow-in-the-dark trophy.
