Alene Moore, 94 of Jonesboro, formerly of Malden, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Alene, daughter of Charlie and Millie Mae Banks Pyle, was born on Sunday, July 8, 1923 in Malden.

She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden.

On February 8, 1945, in Malden, she was united in marriage to William Leon Moore. He preceded her in death May 13, 2008.

Her survivors include one daughter, Debbie Earnheart and husband, Danny, of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Brian Earnheart and wife, Audra, of Collierville, Tenn., Sarah Hoskyn and husband, Taylor, of Jonesboro; two great-grandchildren, Weston Earnheart and Marshall Earnheart both of Collierville; one brother, Floyd Pyle of Troy, Mo.; five sisters, Mary Wormington of Overland, Ruth Rogers of Malden, Jane Maham of St. Louis, Faye McCormick and Florene Lee both of Bernie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lorene Penick; three brothers, Chalmer Pyle, Mac Pyle and Pete Pyle.

Funeral services were held in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Luke and Rev. Floyd Pyle officiating. Burial will be in the Stevens Cemetery in Malden.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
